Arkema’s amino 11 chemistry is derived from the castor bean, a renewable crop that does not compete with food and does not cause deforestation. Arkema is a leading driver of sustainable castor farming in India. Arkema is a founding member of the Pragati project, the world’s first sustainable castor farming program.

Arkema launched its Virtucycle® program in 2019 to offer 3 axis of support to Arkema’s high performance polymers customers and downstream users: Eco-design expertise, recyclability guarantee and recycling and recycled high-performance polymer. The program develops loops for the collection and regeneration of high performance polymers while minimizing CO2 emissions.
